My client Wil and me after his appointment - look at that blonde!

I was adopted by a woman with pin-straight hair. Mom didn’t believe kid’s hair was that important. Therefore, my hair mostly got cut in garages or kitchens by people who “used to” do hair. She even used to tape my hair down to make it behave.

My curly locks were the bane of my existence — unruly, unstylish — until an aunt took me to a true professional who cared about my hair. My life changed. From then on, I knew that hairstyles were a form of self-expression. I still longed for that Farrah Fawcett look, but I knew I had to work with what I had.

Having done hair starting in the '80s, I have seen it all. While I love big hair, I also love a swingy bob or a pixie cut. I love natural-looking highlights, a brilliant red or vivid fashion colors

Today, I strive to help people find styles that work with their hair’s texture and with their lifestyle. I truly love finding a style that suits a person’s personality and that they can maintain with relative ease.

I have studied haircutting and color with Vidal Sassoon Academy, Arrojo, Goldwell and more. I’ve learned so much and have worked hard to continue to hone my craft. Nothing is better than hearing a client say "Perfect!" or "I love it!"

I love all hair. I want you to love your hair. too.
